Since 1987, the Hellenic Centre for Photography has been organizing the annual exhibition “Young Greek Photographers” as part of the Athens Photo Festival. In tune with today’s needs, the program expands its horizons beyond a mere exhibition event and is now regarded as a platform for presentation, education, networking, and parallel activities, all aimed at benefiting young artists.

Open Call for Emerging Photographers
The Hellenic Centre for Photography is thrilled to announce that the Open Call has officially closed, with over 500 proposals received from emerging photo-based artists with a connection to Greece. The deadline to submit your work was April 18, 2024.

Festival Returnees
It’s always so rewarding to see YGP Talents alumni return with work in the Athens Photo Festival’s official selection. In the previous edition of the festival, we were delighted to announce that we had 8 returnees selected for the Main Program and the International Traveling Exhibition. The participating artists were: Elena Aya Bundurakis, Catherine Chatzidimitriou, Marilia Fotopoulou, Giannis Manolis, Maria Mavropoulou, Antonia Petriti, Ioanna Sakellaraki, and Penelope Thomaidi.
