Through a call on objectivity and a certain visual vocabulary, the photographic work “non-places” deals with the installations that compose the transportation landscape of contemporary Greece –product of the repetitive landscape of a global continuum. Heterotopias of supermodernity with an interjectional presence in social life; transit points and spaces of modern means of transport with foregone functions that neutralize vocal contrasts. Non-places unlinked to history, with no locality, in the shape of a worldwide urban network which brings Metropolis along its edges, and reminds of Calvino’s continuous city, Trude.
